To: The Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Philippines

Dear comrades,

We, the Central Committee of Japan Communist League (JCL) would like to extend our revolutionary congratulations to all the comrades of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the reestablishment of CPP.

Just like no change between Bush and Obama in the U.S., in the Philippines the Aquino administration has clamped down on the people’s movement brutally in the same way as the former Arroyo regime. Abduction, illegal detention, torture and disappearance of activists who call for genuine democracy has been rampant. The military operation with anti-people policies by the U.S. and its puppet government clearly proves that only the anti-imperialist national liberation struggle can emancipate the people in the Philippines. The armed struggle waged by you and the revolutionary people is advancing vigorously, which becomes hope to people around the world. We support you.

While the radical crisis of capitalism is deepening and the invasion by imperialist countries has been continuing, working class and oppressed people have stood up to fight back all over the world. The revolution in the Middle East and north Africa has been ongoing since last winter. In Japan the accident of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant last spring led to the massive campaign against nuclear power, while people consistently keep on mobilization to dismantle U.S. bases and oppose the U.S-Japan military alliance. Last July many progressive organizations gathered together in the Philippines from various part of the world and the united front against imperialism was further strengthened.

Last autumn massive anti-poverty actions showed up and have expanded in many industrialized countries.

We will strengthen the international solidarity with you and Filipino people. We will learn a lot from your experience and push through the anti-imperialist struggle until the day of our common victory.

Long live the revolutionary struggle led by CPP in the Philippines!
Long live the revolutionary solidarity relations between CPP and JCL!
Long live the proletarian internationalism!
