This and the upcoming appointment of a new chief justice leads to the ruling clique's consolidation of political power.

Controlling all the branches of the reactionary government gives the ruling Aquino clique the daringness to intensify the oppression, suffering and repression of the Filipino people, further use state power for the benefit of its cohorts' businesses and be more of a puppet to US imperialism.

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) described the official visit accorded by the Obama government to Benigno Aquino III as a reward for his "close cooperation with the US imperialists to help fortify its power in the Asia-Pacific region at the expense of the Filipino people's sovereignty and its right to self-determination."

"In meeting with US President Barrack Obama and paying homage and offering complete submission to US economic, political and military power, Aquino is sealing his treachery and declaring himself as a national enemy of the Filipino people," said the CPP. "He is a traitor to the Filipino people and to their historic struggle and aspirations for genuine national freedom."

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) calls on the Filipino people, especially the workers, the Filipino youth and students, their parents, the teachers' sector and the academe to resolutely oppose the K-12 Program of the US-Aquino regime. The K-12 Program which the Department of Education (DepEd) started to implement this year primarily seeks to further pull down the wages of Filipino workers by reengineering the Philippine educational system to churn out more semi-skilled graduates in a shorter cycle and introducing younger workers into the already wide ocean of unemployed workers.

Ka Joma, I would like to get your insights on Corona's removal from the SC through impeachment.

Here are some questions:

1. What is your analysis on the removal of Corona from the SC? What do you think are the factors why the Aquino regime is very eager on this matter?

Answer:  The removal of Corona is a manifestation and offshoot of the conflict between the Aquino yellow gang  in power and the Arroyo gang. It is more specifically about Noy Aquino punishing Corona for the Supreme Court decision on Hacienda Luisita. Most  importantly, it is strategically about taking over the Supreme Court and dominating the reactionary government.
