The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) today called on the Filipino people to confront the rest of the Aquino regime's term with bigger mass struggles and heightened armed resistance in order to hinder it from inflicting more harm against the Filipino people with its pro-imperialist, antipeople and repressive policies.

Marking the second year of the Aquino regime in power, the CPP said "Benigno Aquino is set to prove he can surpass all the previous regimes in terms of his servility to the US government and military, firm adherence to the US- and IMF-designed neoliberal policies and capability to serve the interests of foreign big corporations, especially large mining companies, to the detriment of the Filipino toiling masses."

The revolutionary forces are inspired by the series of ambushes that you have mounted against the abusive soldiers and police who are under the employ of Xstrata-SMI. Your armed resistance has given more strength for the people’s collective struggle against the impending destruction of our land and waters that will be brought about by Xstrata-SMI.

The National Democratic Front in the Bicol Region declares its warm acceptance and strict adherence to the NDFP Declaration and Program of Action for the Rights, Protection and Welfare of Children ratified by the National Council of the NDFP last April 24, 2012.

The formal declaration of all revolutionary forces' protection and advocacy of children's rights and welfare is due and timely in the face of the more systematic and worsening violations of children's rights, as brought about by the anti-people and counter-revolutionary program Oplan Bayanihan (OPB) of the US-Aquino III regime.

The Procopio Tauro Front-NPA North Abra condemns the undemocratic process by which the Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) was held in the municipality of Lacub, province of Abra last March 2012 and the harassment, deceit, and dirty tactics used by the large-scale mining (LSM) company, its LGU cohorts, and the AFP to push the people to vote in favor of the exploration of the Golden Lake-Miguel M. Ang noo'y hindi lubusang magawa, ngayo'y buong larga nang ipinatutupad, dala ng walang hangganang pagpapagamit ng rehimeng Aquino sa imperyalistang amo nito. Sa ilalim ng rehimeng Aquino, mapalalaki na nang husto ang presensya ng mga tropa at gamit-militar ng US.
