As the US-Aquino regime’s head-hunting gets more desperate, the revolutionary movement, undaunted, gets stronger

[Audio clip]In behalf of the NDFP-Mindanao, I wish to express my strongest condemnation with regard to the recent updated DND-DILG Joint Order No. 14-2012, which raises the amount of monetary reward for the capture of 235 alleged wanted communists to PHP466.88 million.  This is the second time this year that Malacanang announced bounty money for information that would lead to the capture of revolutionaries; the first was in August.

Grayson Naogsan's Illegal Arrest Shows Oplan Bayanihan’s Fascist Fangs

The Cordillera People's Democratic Front vehemently denounces the illegal arrest and detention of Grayson Naogsan, the eldest son of the CPDF spokesperson.

Clearly a sign of the desperation and failure of the US-Aquino regime's Oplan Bayanihan, the arbitrary arrest of Grayson shows that the military now targets unarmed civilians who are relatives of known revolutionaries. Grayson was arrested while enroute to his hometown to pay last respects to his grandfather. The elder Pablo Naogsan died last month in Butigue, Paracelis in Mountain Province. Earlier during the wake Lt. Col. Donald Hongitan of the 54th IBPA declared that “I will break protocols, we will not arrest manong Simon and his son if they come home to pay their last respects to their father and grandfather respectively ...”

Justice still elusive for Leonard Co as human rights violations remain widespread

November 15, 2012

The National Democratic Front-Eastern Visayas today marked the second death anniversary of scientist Leonard Co who was murdered in Kananga, Leyte, and said that justice remains elusive for him because human rights violations have not been addressed but in fact continue under the Aquino regime's Oplan Bayanihan. “It is sad to note that two years after the massacre of Leonard Co and his companions in November 2010, not one of the perpetrators from the 19th IB have been brought to justice, and that is true of other rights violations as well,” said NDF-EV spokesperson Fr. Santiago Salas. “Government troops enjoy impunity on military offensives disguised as for “peace and development.” The military propagadists led by the chief of the 8th Infantry Division, Gen. Gerardo Layug, are bastardizing human rights and international humanitarian law in claiming to uphold these even as many civilians are affected by Oplan Bayanihan.”

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) today strongly protested the issuance of a P466.8 million bounty for the capture of 235 people whom the Aquino regime claims to be leaders of the CPP, saying this will only lead to more corruption in the military, illegal arrests, torture and other grave human rights abuses.

US military must be held equally liable for toxic waste dumping--CPP

Information Bureau
Communist Party of the Philippines
November 13, 2012

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) today said the US military should be held equally liable for the dumping at Subic Bay of toxic waste collected from US naval warships by its defense contractor Glenn Defense Marine Philippines last October.

Last week, investigations being conducted by the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) were made public revealing that tankers owned by Glenn Defense Marine dumped off the coast of Subic Bay 189,500 liters of untreated human waste and 760 liters of bilge water (oil and grease) collected from US Navy Ship Emory Land at Subic Bay waters. Officials of Glenn Defense Marine claim that the toxic waste was dumped 37 kilometers off the shore of Subic, well within the territory of the Philippines. There are indicators, however, that the dumping was done even closer to shore.

NDF-EV declares Daza dynasty an enemy of the people in Northern Samar

Fr. Santiago 'Sanny' Salas
NDFP-Eastern Visayas
November 13, 2012

The National Democratic Front-Eastern Visayas today declared the Daza political dynasty as an enemy of the people in Northern Samar in exemplifying the rottenness of bureaucrat capitalism in the country. “The Daza dynasty, led by Congressman Raul Daza and his son Governor Paul Daza, runs Northern Samar like a business in favor of the ruling classes of landlords and comprador big bourgeoisie as well as US imperialism,” said NDF-EV spokesperson Fr. Santiago Salas. “Thus, NDF-EV agrees with those who want to dismantle and do away with political dynasties such as the Dazas of Northern Samar. The revolutionary government also calls on the public to provide information in the continuing preliminary investigation into the crimes of the Daza dynasty towards the filing of formal charges in the people's court.”

With the phony dramatics of the surrender of some 60 plus arms, remnants of the CPLA come into full circle for the nth time since the renegade group split from the NPA on Aprril 7, 1986. It has come out to do what its leaders had originally intended–to take flight from the people's struggle and serve the counter-revolutionary operations of the reactionary AFP.

Crowned as the hope of any nation, the youth should partake actively in the nation’s quest for peace.  In September 2012, famous personalities like Anne Curtis, Gerald Anderson and Aple de Ap overwhelmed the launching of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) “I am for Peace” campaign. President Aquino led it himself, applauding the stars’ readiness to serve as national peace ambassadors geared for promoting peace and raising public awareness about the ongoing peace process with the Muslim community.

Aquino's Marcos-style cover-up of human rights violations

Aquino recently responded insolently to a flood of complaints on human rights violations by armed agents of the state by dismissing the growing cases of state violence against the people as nothing but "Leftist propaganda."

He even pervertedly accused the people of "violating the human rights of the military and police" by citing as an example urban poor residents throwing stones at demolition teams escorted by state agents armed with guns, teargas and truncheons.
